It's both true and harsh.
Ed Piskor decided to part ways with this world due to "pressure" from the online community regarding alleged facts pertaining his personal life. Wish this was an April fools' story of some sort, but it does not seem to be.
For all of you Piskor fans, know that he left a very lucid goodbye statement that you can find online.

A Deviant.fun surge em 2020, fruto da paixão do seu fundador e da sua vontade de facilitar e impulsionar a aquisição de títulos novos (predominantemente no formato original) especialmente pelos apreciadores nacionais mas também por todos os europeus desta apaixonante arte.
A missão da Deviant.fun passa por fornecer um serviço económico e variado, compatível com a típica apetência por novidades e colecionismo dos amantes da BD. Pretende apresentar-se como uma loja especializada onde as compras sejam facilitadas e orientadas, ao invés de outros serviços onde é necessário pesquisar por uma miríade de produtos de categorias em nada relacionadas. Facilitada também na medida em que tentamos incorporar as mais modernas e práticas formas de pagamento para que possa optar pela que mais lhe convier no momento.
