From qualifier to Roland Garros finalist.

Maja Chwalińska entered Paris ranked around World No. 114.
Now she is one win away from one of the most unexpected Grand Slam titles in recent memory.

And for gear nerds, there is another detail:

That glossy black HEAD frame.

Exact setup unconfirmed.
But the question is obvious…

Retail frame, custom setup, or pro stock under the paint?

Could she win Roland Garros?

Serena is back. 👸🏾

After nearly four years away from professional tennis, Serena Williams is set to return at Queen’s Club in doubles.

The tennis story is huge.
But for gear nerds, the Wilson story is just as interesting.

Serena’s racket legacy includes two of the most iconic modern Wilson Autograph frames: the Blade SW104 Autograph and the later SW102 Autograph.

The SW104 leaned into Serena’s power, extended length and larger sweet spot.

The SW102 moved slightly smaller, bringing more control while keeping the Serena power profile.

Now the question starts again:

What Wilson setup do you think Serena will use for the comeback?

This is the retail Wilson Blade V10.

Mensik uses the same cosmetic.
But not the same setup.

That’s something many tennis players don’t realize.

On the ATP Tour, the paintjob is often only part of the story.

Specs are different.
More customization.
Sometimes a completely different feel.

After spending time with the Blade V10, I finally published my full review on the blog.

The cosmetic is beautiful.
The feel is even better.

But the question is:

👇 How different do you think Mensik’s racket really is from the retail Blade V10?

I bet you’ve never saw this.

Jakub Mensik’s racket is one of the most discussed setups among gear nerds right now.

We know he’s playing with a customized Wilson Blade setup.

But the real question is:

How close is it to the retail version?

Custom specs?
Pro Stock layup?
Something entirely different?

One thing is certain.

As Mensik keeps climbing the rankings and making deep runs at the biggest events, more people are paying attention to what is actually in his hand.

What’s your guess?

👇 Retail Blade, Blade Pro or something else?

Tennis, reimagined as a Van Gogh-inspired oil painting. 🎨⚡️

João Fonseca’s energy already feels cinematic on court — so this one had to look like a museum-style tennis poster.

Thick brushstrokes, Starry Night movement, clay-court warmth, and that red Yonex frame standing out under the painted sky.

Would you like to see more tennis players reimagined in this style?

Tiafoe changed rackets?

For years, his Yonex setup was linked to an older Duel G / VCORE Pro mold.

But his current Roland Garros frame looks different.

The throat shape, the 16x19 pattern and the current Yonex listing all point much closer to the Percept 97.

Still, this does not mean it is a standard retail frame.

Glossy finish.
Tour customization.
Possible pro stock specs.

So the real question is:

Retail Percept 97… or Tiafoe’s custom tour version?
