FACEBOOK, WHY? 🤦‍♀️

Yesterday I shared that FB had a new challenge:
Hit 300,000 views in 28 days and get a m0netization invite.

I encouraged some creators to jump on it.
My DMs were full - people completed it in days and sent screenshots saying thank you.

Now FB says invites will go out "end of July" 🙄
Why the delay? And w0rse - I’m hearing they’ve removed the challenge completely.

We’ve been here before. Last time it was mass dem0netization.
This time it’s fãlsẽ hope.

I hope FB brings the challenge back and honors the people who completed it as promised.

Before Facebook removed it yesterday, one individual had obtained exclusive access and shared the notification with me via inbox, stating he would be eligible for an invitation in July, thus becoming an unpredictable variable. A detailed review revealed the feature was specifically discontinued in Nigeria, whereas residents in Ghana and other locations worldwide, including parts of Africa, are still experiencing the issue. Nonetheless, it seems individuals in Nigeria who met certain criteria yesterday will be granted content monetization in July.😩😩😩

Shocking 😳 update ‼️….

While millions of creators have been recently demonetized by facebook system with no valid reasons, facebook just introduced a new challenge to help creators who have not been monetized to join the challenge and stand a chance to get invited in if they meet up with 300,000 views in 28 days.

Now I want you to pause and think deeply about this!!

Think 💭. Think 🤔.

Facebook has not done anything yet or say anything about millions of accounts that were wrongly demonetized. I mean account that has thousands of dollars 💵 and now they are gradually rolling in new recruits through this challenge so that their platform will not feel the pressure of losing those dedicated creators whose accounts were previously demonetized.

This is a game and the painful reality is that facebook will win at the end because obviously am not seeing them being called to order by any government or legal institution.
