المقالة التالية تعرض اسماء الشركات التي لديها اكبر عدد من الخادمات servers، مع العلم بانه لا يوجد احصائية واضحة، ولكن يجتهد المؤلف في ايجاد البيانات.

بشكل سريع، تذكر المقالة بان شركة مايكروسوفت تملك اكبر عدد من الخادمات ويصل الى مليون جهاز بحسب مدير الشركة. ثم شركة فيس بوك بمئات الاف الخادمات، ويليها شركة OVH بعدد 150000 خادم تقريبا، ويليها شركة اكامي 127000 خادم ثم سوفت لاير 100000 خادم.

يجدر النبيه بان المقالة تم كتابتها عام 2009 وثم تم تحديثها عام 2013. ومع ذلك فإن شركات مثل سوفت لاير و OVH وغيرها قامت ببناء مراكز بيانات جديدة وزيادة عدد الخادمات لديها في الفترة ما بين عام 2013 والاشهر الاولى من عام 2014.

تتحدث المقالة عن ان كون اعادة تشغيل نظام التشغيل كاحد الحلول هي فكرة غير سليمة في كثير من الاحيان، فقد تكون هذه المشكلة تؤثر على استقرار النظام، وفي حال إعادة تشغيل النظام يتوقف عن العمل كليا، ويحتاج لحلول اصعب من التي كانت يمكن ان تكون في حال تم حلها قبل اعادة تشغيل النظام. في انظمة تشغيل ويندوز عادتا ما يقوم مسؤول النظام بإعادة التشغيل كحل من اوائل الحلول، اما في حال انظمة لينوكس فلا يفترض إعادة تشغيل النظام الى في الحالات النادرة جدا.

يجب ان لا تهرب من حل المشكلة بإعادة التشغيل، ففي انظمة لينوكس يمكن حل تقريبا جميع المشاكل دون حل المشكلة.
