The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting him into the box. "There are 4 things you need to know," he told the pencil,
أخذ صانع القلم الرصاص القلم جانبا قبل وضعه في الصندوق. "هناك 4 أشياء تحتاج معرفتها،" قال الرجل للقلم،
"Before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget, and you will become the best pencil you can be."
"قبل أن أخرجك للعالم. تذكرها دائما و لا تنسى و ستكون أفضل قلم رصاص على الأطلاق."
"One: You will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a better pencil."
"واحد: ستقاسي شحذا مؤلما من وقت لأخر و لكن ستحتاجه لتصبح قلم أفضل."
"Two: You will be able to correct any mistakes you might make." "Three: The most important part of you will always be what's inside." "And Four: On every surface you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write." The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.
"أثنين: ستكون قادرا على تصحيح أي أخطاء قد ترتكبها."
"ثلاثة: أهم جزء منك سيكون دائما ما بداخلك." "و أربعة: على كل سطح يتم استخدامك عليه يجب عليك أن تترك بصمتك. مهما كانت الظروف، يجب أن تستمر في الكتابة."
فهم القلم الرصاص و وعد أن يتذكر و ذهب إلى الصندوق و عنده غاية في قلبه.

إثنين: ستكون قادرا على تصحيح أي أخطاء قد ترتكبها. ثلاثة: أهم جزء منك سيكون دائما جوهرك من الداخل. و رابعا: على كل سطح تمشي عليه يجب عليك أن تترك بصمة. و مهما كان الموقف يجب عليك دائما أن تقوم بواجباتك.
