March 15, 1921. In Berlin, Armenian Genocide survivor Soghomon Tehlirian shot and killed Talaat Pasha, the former Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire and one of the main organizers of the Armenian Genocide. Tehlirian later became a symbol of justice for many Armenians.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan confirmed he personally instructed Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute director Edita Gzoyan to submit a resignation letter after an incident he said contradicted the government’s foreign policy.

Reports indicate that two drones originating from Iranian territory crashed in the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan (Armenian lands occupied by Azerbaijan) according to official statements from Azerbaijan. One of the drones struck the grounds of Nakhchivan’s only airport, while the second fell in the nearby Shekerabad neighborhood.

Authorities confirmed that at least two people were injured as a result of the incident. No fatalities have been reported so far.

The Azerbaijani government condemned what it described as “drone attacks carried out from the territory of Iran.” While Baku stopped short of directly accusing Iran of conducting the strikes, officials emphasized that Azerbaijan reserves the right to take appropriate retaliatory measures in response to the incident.

We at Armosphere respect our Iranian neighbors and have nothing against Muslims from countries (to name a few) like Lebanon, Iran, Syria, and Egypt who supported Armenians after the Armenian Genocide.

We shared this because we suspect the individual may actually be an Azerbaijani who could be acting with the intent to provoke tension.
