El Fuerte Buchanan recibió a la directora ejecutiva de la Cámara de Comercio de Puerto Rico para dialogar sobre nuevas oportunidades para pequeños negocios, contratistas locales y alianzas que fortalezcan tanto la preparación militar como el desarrollo económico de Puerto Rico.

Con una inversión anual que supera los $500 millones, el Fuerte Buchanan continúa generando empleos, oportunidades de contratación y crecimiento económico mientras cumple su misión de apoyar la preparación de aproximadamente 15,000 militares que sirven en Puerto Rico y el Caribe.

La conversación incluyó posibles talleres para ayudar a empresas locales a competir por contratos federales y el desarrollo de iniciativas que conecten a la comunidad empresarial con las oportunidades disponibles a través del Departamento del Ejército.

Fort Buchanan recently hosted the Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce to discuss new opportunities for small businesses, local contractors, and partnerships that strengthen both military readiness and Puerto Rico's economy.

With an annual investment exceeding $500 million, Fort Buchanan continues to generate jobs, contracting opportunities, and economic growth while supporting the readiness of approximately 15,000 service members serving throughout Puerto Rico and the Caribbean.

Discussions included potential workshops to help local businesses compete for federal contracts and initiatives designed to connect Puerto Rico's business community with opportunities across the Department of the Army.
