Kochał lotnictwo miłością największą.
Pokazywał nam na fotografiach lotnictwo polskie od lat 60-tych do teraz. Po stracie Syna publikował mniej, ale my zawsze o Nim pamiętaliśmy za to, co zrobił dla polskich skrzydeł.
W wieku 84 lat, w dniu 10 listopada 2025 roku do Niebieskiej Eskadry odszedł Pan Wacław Hołyś.

- 40 examples converted out of Lim-6 1963-1964 by WSK-1 (now PZL Mielec) in Mielec, Poland 🇵🇱
- 49 examples converted out of Lim-5M 1964-1965 by LZR-4 (later WZL-4) in Warszawa, Poland 🇵🇱
- 2 examples converted out of prototypes CM 10-30 and CM 16-01 (both ex Lim-5) in 1965 by LZR-4 (later WZL-4) in Warszawa, Poland 🇵🇱
Notes: Aircraft (its remains) in the photograph was produced as a Lim-5M and converted to a Lim-6bis, it served in the Polish Air Force (Wojska Lotnicze PRL). On 4 August 1976, the aircraft was destroyed near village of Krucz when it collided mid-air with a Soviet Mi-8 from the Northern Group of Forces, which had no flight plan filed. The pilot, Lt. Mieczysław Siuda, as well as the crew and passengers (up to 8 people) of the helicopter did not survive. The remains of the Lim-6bis and Mi-8 are on display at the Piła Military Museum in Piła, Poland. Taken on 16 September 2023.
