🔥 When the sun sets, the fireplace becomes the sun of the night.

Evening fire, sounds, silence and the presence of stars brings up something else from within.

Let’s gather around, quiet down our minds and allow the smoothness of flute paint dreamy melodies.

Two years ago I brought 3 overtone flutes together to produce melodies of "Freedom". Drum, bass and ethnic flutes. From then it started to bring up a question: what is this genre of music? I've heard people saying: jungle fusion, fantasy folk and more. How would you call it? Enjoy!

🌬️ Breath is transformed into sound through the flute.
Your breath carries information about your state of being and expression, and the flute becomes a tool through which it can be revealed and developed.

This workshop invites you into a direct, embodied
experience of sound, breath, and awareness.

- Breathing practices and body posture for playing
ethnic flutes
- The fundamentals of overtone flutes through guided
individual and group practice
- Learning to play Native American Flutes - individual
and group exercises
- Flute philosophy, legends, and the use of flutes in
personal and group work

Next workshop happens in Ireland, Blessington near Dublin on 30th of May.

🌎 Saqsayhuamán is an exceptional place in Peru. Around 3700 meters above the sea level. What I love the most in Andean Mountains are the short trees, lovely alpacas and decent people living there!

🎵 I have found an overtone flute made out of 3 wooden parts. Comfortable for traveling and deep sounding. Sometimes called "The Grandfather Flute". Looking forward to use it in recordings and on stage.

💡 If you'd like to learn how to play overtone flutes with me, I will be coming soon to Ireland to give a group workshop.

Have a pleasant week everyone!
Tommy

"Eastward the dawn rose, ridge behind ridge into the morning, and vanished out of eyesight into guess; it was no more than a glimmer blending with the hem of the sky, but it spoke to them, out of the memory and old tales, of the high and distant mountains." ~ J.R.R. Tolkien
