I am extremely thankful to International Water Management Institute (IWMI) and Kifayat Zaman and his team for providing me the opportunity to deploy my Hydro Ram Pump in Ichrian village, District Mansehra. We have installed four such pumps in the last month. There is tremendous scope for such simple and indigenous systems. No fuel, no electricity makes it the greenest and environment friendly system. Great effort by IWMI Pakistan and particularly Engr. Kifayat Zaman and his team for making this a reality. It is matter of great pride for me to be sole provider of Hydro Ram Pumps for the project. Unfortunately the report failed to mention this aspect. Hydro Ramp is gaining popularity in the wake of Climate Change Challenges. Its simplicity, ease of installation and use and environment friendly design makes its ideal for communities living in remote Hilly Areas.
