An on-campus recruitment drive was successfully conducted by PARCO–Gunvor at NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), Multan. The initiative provided students with an excellent opportunity to engage with industry professionals, explore potential career pathways, and demonstrate their capabilities.
Such initiatives play a vital role in bridging the gap between academia and the professional world, creating pathways for future engineers and leaders.
On this occasion, Regional Manager PARCO–Gunvor, Mr. Saddique Khattak, met with the Vice Chancellor and expressed appreciation for the arrangements that ensured the smooth conduct of the campus drive. Engr Mujtaba Ashraf Chairman Job Placement Office, NFC IET, was also present during the meeting, where prospects for future collaboration between NFC IET and PARCO–Gunvor were discussed.

Vice Chancellor of NFC Institute of Engineering and Technology (NFC IET), Multan, Prof. Dr. Shabbar Atiq met with Dr. Niaz Ahmad Akhtar, Chairman of the Higher Education Commission Pakistan.
During the meeting, Dr. Shabbar Atiq briefed the Chairman on ongoing academic programs and institutional activities at NFC IET Multan. The Vice Chancellor commended the Chairman’s strategic vision and proactive leadership in advancing key reforms in Pakistan’s higher education sector.

HEC Mentorship Program for Universities (MPU).
A valuable and insightful training session was conducted under the HEC Mentorship Program for Universities (MPU) at NFC Institute of Engineering & Technology, Multan. The session was organized at the Department of Business Administration, under the leadership of Dr. Sana ur Rehman, Head of Department Business Administration, who also served as the convenor of the program.
The session trainer was Dr. Nadir Munir Magsi, Director ORIC, Emerson University, Multan. He delivered an engaging talk on “Time Management for Professional Excellence,” highlighting the importance of effective time utilization in achieving both personal and professional success.
The event was honored by the presence of the Vice Chancellor and Registrar, who met with Dr. Nadir Munir Magsi & appreciated valuable contributions.
The session provided practical insights into time management and fostering a collaborative academic environment.

Last week, teams from the top Chemical Engineering departments from across Pakistan were hosted by Department of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, LUMS for the final ceremony of the 2026 edition of 'Design and Innovation Challenge for Chemical Engineers'. A delegation from Department of Chemical Engineering represented NFC IET Multan in this event.

A productive Heads of Departments (HoDs) and Principal Officers meeting was held today, chaired by the Vice Chancellor, focusing on the progress of the academic calendar and key academic priorities.
Discussions centered on ensuring timely completion of ongoing academic activities, reviewing milestones achieved so far, and addressing any challenges faced by departments. Special emphasis was placed on the smooth conduct of upcoming departmental examinations, with clear strategies outlined to maintain transparency, efficiency, and academic integrity.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated the efforts of all departments and encouraged continued collaboration to uphold high academic standards and ensure a seamless experience for students.
