Honored to have participated as a panelist in the roundtable discussion held at Beaconhouse National University (BNU), Lahore, hosted by the BNU Center for Policy Research (BCPR) under the PHEC-funded CEPPED initiative.

Proud to share that this project has been secured under the guidance of Dr. Zubair Iqbal, Vice Chancellor, BZU, and that the School of Economics, BZU is working as a partner university in this important initiative.

The session brought together leading economists, policymakers, and academic experts from partner universities including BZU, UAF, PU, and UMT to deliberate on Pakistan’s evolving debt landscape. The discussion highlighted critical issues of debt sustainability, fiscal discipline, and the need for strong institutional reforms, while offering practical and forward-looking policy recommendations for sustainable fiscal governance.

Appreciation to the PHEC for establishing collaborative research clusters that unite academics across institutions to examine pressing issues and advance informed policy discussions in Pakistan’s changing environment. Eager to sustain joint efforts in tackling these significant policy concerns.
