Nuvei Acquires Payoneer in $2.75 Billion Cash Deal.
Montreal-based payments company Nuvei has agreed to acquire Nasdaq-listed Payoneer for $2.75 billion in cash, creating a unified global financial platform serving businesses across more than 190 countries.

Claude AI maker Anthropic has raised $65 billion in fresh funding, pushing its valuation to around $965 billion.
The new valuation reportedly moves Anthropic ahead of OpenAI, making it one of the most valuable AI companies in the world.
Anthropic was founded by former OpenAI employees and is led by Dario Amodei.
The company says the funding will help meet growing demand, support advanced AI research, and expand access to its Claude AI models.
The funding round included major investors and tech partners such as Amazon, Sequoia Capital, Samsung, Micron, and SK hynix.
The deal shows how intense the global AI race has become as companies compete for leadership in advanced artificial intelligence.

یا اللہ! ہمارے والدین پر رحم فرما، ان کی مغفرت فرما، ان کی قبروں کو جنت کے باغوں میں سے ایک باغ بنا دے۔ ہمارے اہلِ خانہ، عزیز و اقارب، دوست احباب اور تمام مسلمانوں کو اپنی حفاظت اور عافیت میں رکھ۔
یا اللہ! امتِ مسلمہ پر رحم فرما۔ جہاں کہیں مسلمان مصیبت، ظلم، جنگ، بھوک، بیماری یا پریشانی میں ہیں، ان کی مدد فرما۔ فلسطین، کشمیر اور دنیا بھر کے مظلوم مسلمانوں کی حفاظت فرما، ان کے لیے آسانیاں پیدا فرما اور انہیں عزت و سکون عطا فرما۔
یا اللہ! ہمارے دلوں سے حسد، بغض، نفرت اور تکبر کو نکال دے، ہمیں محبت، اخلاص، صبر، شکر اور تقویٰ نصیب فرما۔ ہمیں سچ بولنے، نیکی کرنے اور تیری رضا والے اعمال کی توفیق عطا فرما۔
یا اللہ! ہمیں صحت، عافیت، حلال اور کشادہ رزق عطا فرما، ہمارے قرض ادا فرما، ہماری جائز حاجات پوری فرما، ہمارے بچوں کو نیک، صالح اور دین کا خدمتگار بنا۔
یا اللہ! ہمیں اپنی یاد، اپنی محبت، اپنے ذکر اور اپنی عبادت میں مشغول رکھ۔ ہمارے خاتمے کو ایمان پر فرما، ہمیں جہنم کی آگ سے محفوظ رکھ اور جنت الفردوس میں بغیر حساب و کتاب داخل فرما۔
اے اللہ! حج کرنے والوں کے حج کو مقبول فرما، ان کی دعائیں قبول فرما، اور جو لوگ حج کی تمنا رکھتے ہیں انہیں بھی جلد اپنے گھر کی حاضری نصیب فرما۔
اے ہمارے رب! ہماری تمام دعائیں قبول فرما، بے شک تو ہی سننے والا، جاننے والا اور نہایت مہربان ہے۔

PTCL has warned users across Pakistan about possible internet slowdowns and service disruptions during a week-long submarine cable repair operation starting May 11.
According to the company, maintenance work by the International Cable Consortium will continue until May 18, with internet quality likely to be affected, especially during evening hours.
PTCL said the repair activity is aimed at improving the long-term reliability and performance of internet services despite temporary inconvenience to customers.
