.Dr. Miftah Ismail—Former Federal Minister for Finance and Co-founder of Ismail Industries—joined us last night at Gulistan-e-Johar, on an invitation by our friends.
During our last meeting, time constraints left many of our questions unanswered. To address those very concerns, he specially joined us this time for a detailed, exclusive sit-down.
Joined by the passionate youth of Karachi, we had an extensive and meaningful dialogue on various critical topics. It was an exceptional exchange of ideas, where he shared his detailed insights and brought absolute clarity to our questions.

Peer Asadullah Shah Rashdi and his team's lawyers held a protest in front of the IG Sindh office, demanding free and fair elections and seeking the registration of a First Information Report against those accused of ragging.
Back in March 2024, my team and I took a significant step by planting 10 Gulmohar saplings in Gulistan-e-Johar, Karachi. Among them was this one—a 5-foot sapling that we have all watched grow with hope and dedication.
Today, in 2026, as I was passing by, I witnessed a moment of pure magic: this tree has finally blossomed with its very first flowers. 🌺 Seeing these vibrant blooms with my own eyes was an overwhelming experience. It’s a testament to the hard work my team put in and a reminder that true soul-satisfaction comes from connecting with Nature.
This sight has moved us so deeply that we have decided to resume our Plantation Drive immediately. Our mission is to scale this up and serve Karachi on a much larger level. 🌳
To all my fellow citizens: Let’s join hands with us to make our city green again. Let’s plant peace, one tree at a time. If we all play our part, we can transform Karachi into a living paradise. 🌍💚
