Culture is not something you perform.It is something you carry without realizing it.When I attended Saqafat Kerang at the university, it felt less like an event and more like a reminder. Cultures from all over Pakistan came together. Different clothes. Different music. Different ways of living. Yet somehow everything felt familiar. Because at the core, culture is about people. About how we gather. How we celebrate. How we remember who we are.In a time where most of our connections live inside screens and conversations are replaced by scrolling, moments like these matter even more. Technology is powerful, yes. AI is growing fast, yes. But none of it can replace the feeling of standing among people, listening to live music, watching traditions unfold right in front of you.Chitrali culture especially carries a quiet depth. The music. The grace. The simplicity. It does not try to impress. It just exists. And in doing so, it reminds us that being human was never about speed or trends. It was about presence.Cultural events do not belong to the past. They are necessary for today. They keep normal human life normal. They keep us grounded. 2025 taught me that happiness and heartbreak can exist in the same breath.
It gave me memories and took something irreplaceable.
Some pain doesn’t fade with time but it becomes part of who we are.
This year will never leave me. But yeah we have to move on because everyone want us to Sing with rapture and dance like a dervish😎♥️
