In compliance with the directives of the worthy Director General, Industries and Commerce and under the instructions of the Assistant Director Consumer Rights Charsadda, the Industrial Development Officer, Charsadda along with AIDO and other staff members conducted inspections at various establishments across different bazaars of Tehsil Tangi.

The inspected establishments included petrol pumps, LPG outlets, chips manufacturing units, hotels and restaurants, and general stores.

The inspections focused on verifying the expiry dates, quality, quantity, hygienic conditions, and pricing of various essential commodities with special attention given to sugar.

As a result of these inspections several violators were served notices to appear before the office of the Assistant Director, Industries/Consumer Protection Council (CPC), for further legal proceedings. These actions were carried out in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 1997 (amended 2017).

Upon receiving information that some illegal demolishing and cutting of trees going on in Saleem Sugar Mill Charsadda despite the matter is subjudice in Peshawar High Court Peshawar and also stay order granted, the Assistant Director Industries Charsadda along with Assistant Commisner Charsadda and Police Department, visited today on dated 29/06/2024, Saleem Sugar Mill situated on Nowshera Road Charsadda wherein some illegal demolishing of building and cutting of trees was going on. Heavy machinery seized from the spot and Marasalah submitted in Local Police Station for initiating legal action against the violators.

محترم ڈائریکٹر جنرل انڈسٹریز اینڈ کامرس، حکومت خیبر پختونخوا کی ہدایات کی روشنی میں، اسسٹنٹ ڈائریکٹر (کنزیومر رائٹس) چارسدہ نے عملے کے ہمراہ مختلف کاروباری اداروں کا تفصیلی معائنہ کیا۔ ان میں میڈیکل اسٹورز، جنرل اسٹورز، نان شاپس، پیٹرول پمپس اور ریسٹورنٹس شامل تھے۔

معائنے کا مقصد مصنوعات کے معیار، مقدار، صفائی ستھرائی اور ایکسپائری ڈیٹس سے متعلق قواعد و ضوابط پر عملدرآمد کا جائزہ لینا تھا۔

معائنے کے دوران متعدد خلاف ورزیاں سامنے آئیں، جن پر قانونی کارروائی کے لیے اسسٹنٹ ڈائریکٹر انڈسٹریز/کنزیومر پروٹیکشن کونسل (CPC) کے دفتر میں پیش ہونے کی ہدایت کی گئی۔

یہ قانونی اقدامات کنزیومر پروٹیکشن ایکٹ 1997 (ترمیم شدہ 2017) کے تحت کیے گئے۔

In compliance with the directives of the Honorable Director General, Industries and Commerce, The Assistant Director Industries/CPC Charsadda, along with the Industrial Development Officer (IDO), conducted inspections of various establishments in Tehsil Charsadda. These included medical stores, cosmetics shops, general stores, juice shops, fast food cafés, and restaurants. The inspection focused on verifying expiry dates, quality and quantity standards, hygiene conditions, and pricing of essential commodities. All shopkeepers were strictly instructed to adhere to the government-notified price lists. Violators were summoned to appear before the Assistant Director Consumer for further legal proceedings under the Consumer Protection Act, 1997 (amended 2017).

قابلِ احترام ڈائریکٹر جنرل، صنعت و تجارت کی ہدایت پر، اسسٹنٹ ڈائریکٹر (حقوقِ صارفین) نے عملے کے ہمراہ تحصیل چارسدہ میں مختلف کاروباری اداروں کا معائنہ کیا۔ معائنے کے دوران جن کاروباروں کا جائزہ لیا گیا اُن میں بیکریاں، فاسٹ فوڈ کیفے، مچھلی کی دکانیں، مرغی فروش، میڈیکل سٹورز، دودھ کی دکانیں، جنرل سٹورز اور آٹا چکیاں شامل تھیں۔

معائنے کے دوران مختلف ضروری اشیاء کی معیاد، معیار، مقدار، صفائی کی حالت اور قیمتوں کا بغور جائزہ لیا گیا۔

صارفین کے تحفظ کے قانون 1997 (ترمیم شدہ 2017) کی مختلف دفعات کی خلاف ورزی کرنے والوں کو موقع پر ہی جرمانہ کیا گیا۔
