The name Starlicist unites "star" (parol) and "Anglicist," creating the powerful image of the guiding star of future English teachers. This represents the Pre-service teachers' goal to be bright beacons of hope leading students toward knowledge. The parol's recycled materials signify their resourcefulness and responsibility, harmonizing educational practice with sustainability. Specifically, materials like straws, wrappers, and paper plates to harmonize that underscore the power of English to forge strong connections and unity within the community. In essence, Starlicist is an impactful declaration: a promise to bring light, inspiration, and cohesive learning to every student's journey.
