Position: Special Education (SPED) Teacher
Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored instruction based on students’ unique needs
• Collaborate with parents, therapists, and fellow educators
• Monitor and document student progress

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Licensed teacher (preferred)
• Experience working with children with special needs
• Patience, compassion, and strong communication skills

To ensure the safety of our learners, teachers, and school personnel, in light of the threats posed by Tropical Depression Basyang and based on a series of thorough monitoring and assessments conducted by the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO), I hereby declare the suspension of classes at all levels, in both public and private schools, in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, on February 5-6, 2026.

All teachers, especially those assigned in the hinterland barangays, are strongly advised to comply with this advisory for their safety and security. Likewise, all learners are advised to remain at home during this unpredictable time.

An official Executive Order will follow for everyone’s guidance and reference.
