San Emmanuel National High School (SENHS) School Governing Council (SGC) Functionality was recognized by DepEd Region XII during the Pugay Pasasalamat , December 12.

Such recognition highlights the school's commitment to effective governance and community involvement in education.
Dr. Ramelyn Usman, the principal of SENHS, proudly represented the school during the awarding ceremony. Under her leadership, the SGC has implemented various initiatives aimed at improving the quality of education and fostering a collaborative environment between the school, parents, and the community.

"This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our SGC members, teachers, students, and stakeholders," said Dr. Usman. "We believe that a functional SGC is crucial in ensuring that our school meets the needs of our students and the community."

The SGC at SENHS, coordinated by Mr. Eugene Penera, has been instrumental in the development and implementation of school policies, resource mobilization, and community engagement programs. Their efforts have led to significant improvements in school facilities, student performance, and overall school climate.

"We are committed to continue strengthening our SGC and working together with all stakeholders to provide the best possible education for our students," added Mr. Penera.

DepEd XII commended San Emmanuel National High School along with four other high schools in Tacurong including VF Grino National High School, Tacurong National High School, AS Bernardo National High School and San Pablo National High Schol for their outstanding performance and contribution to the advancement of education in the city of goodwill.

The SGC Functionality Award serves as an inspiration for other schools to prioritize good governance and community involvement in their respective institutions.
