Jiang Nan Hotpot (Hemady)

First time ko mag-hotpot and I can say na sulit talaga sya. I didn't expect na mas magugustuhan ko 'to kesa sa mga unli samgyup places. Same rin naman yung nga cut ng meats pero pag pupunta kasi ako ng mga samgyupsal-an dapat wala na akong ibang plano for the rest of the day kasi di ko kaya yung nags-stick talaga sa buhok/ibang body parts yung amoy ng grill. Dito rin naman, pero mas mild sya. My nose can survive.

They offer 699 for unli hotpot and if you also want to use the grill for the complete experience you'd have to add 300 pesos more. We settled for the unli hotpot lang kasi yun talaga yung gusto namin ma-experience. Madaming choices for the ingredients you want to put in your soup. Tip lang dont choose the original and the mushroom soup for your base at the same time, similar lang kasi yung taste nila. If you want variety choose mild spicy or something else.

9/10 because we really loved everything including their peanut sauce and the sauce I made myself (pwede ka mag-mix ng sarili mong sauce). I made a saltier (and a bit spicy) sauce since more on creamy yung prepared nilang peanut sauce beforehand and can be nakaka-umay for some people (like my sister). But its very good for me overall gusto ko na ulit bumalik. Haha.

The missing point is for the payment, nasanay na kasi akong yung resto yung nagdadala ng terminal to your table and they charge your card in front of you. In this resto they take your card somewhere else to process the payment. Hope they can also implement bringing the terminal to the customer for more transparency and card details safety.

If you pay with cash then this is not going to be an issue for you and I can assure you it will be a very good experience overall.

KFC Creamy Spinach

Masarap. Parang Dokito with special sauce (kasi nga may cheese and creamy spinach sauce). Malaki rin yung chicken. Pero to be expected na dapat kasi 190 pesos yung ala carte (250 if may kasamang fries and drinks). May nabasa ako na ibang reviews na hindi nasarapan, pero for me okay sya. Maybe depende sa branch, and I also like creamy food in general.

Kaso may umay factor. Di ko naubos yung akin, 1/4 lang ata nakain ko. I suggest you share this with someone else when you order, because I normally love chicken burgers but hindi ko naubos. I'd order this again only if may kasama ako kumain. 🌸
