Assets are just the ingredients; the design is the recipe.
A quick look behind the scenes at how I built these visuals for Dot. Most people see the final "pubmat," but they don’t see the pieces involved.
By pulling high-quality assets and isolating them from their original environments, I’m able to build a completely custom scene from scratch; controlling the lighting, depth, and hierarchy to fit the brand's specific energy. It’s not just about placing images; it’s about creating a new reality for the product. Nothing is "out of the box", everything is built by hand. 🛠️

Last minute job order and had to pull an all-nighter just to meet the deadline the next day. Tricky but not impossible and if business really needs it, sometimes you gotta step up.
A5 flyers that can be rescaled to A3 posters. It's like hitting two birds with one stone.

The thing with self-initiated works are... No deadlines, just all passion and creativity. And as a sneaker guy, doing designs that are sneaker-relevant while getting your creative juices flowing is the bee's knees.

Made the most out of it even if the event was on short-notice. Guess what, out of all the PISO CUP campaigns that we did. The creativity with this one is on point.
The jeepney placard (with the name of the event) and the barker was a chef's kiss 😙

Half-way through the whole branding & identity design process, the client asked me if coffee shop posters would work, eventually showing me good ones but generic.
So I proposed that I would design custom ones. Taking inspiration at first was really hard given that most posters in start-up coffee shops are either outsourced from the orange app or make-pop marketing materials
That's why I went back with the basics and took cues from one the design movement of the past and put my own twist that still matches the color palette of the brand.
A fun exercise that made my creative-juices, flowing.
