📢 Good News for Micro Taxpayers!

May pending tax issues ka pa ba from previous years? The BIR has launched a One-Time Tax Abatement Program that gives qualified micro taxpayers a chance to settle old tax obligations, clean up their records, and move forward with confidence.

✅ Available until December 31, 2026

Who may qualify?
✔️ Micro taxpayers with annual gross sales not exceeding ₱3,000,000
✔️ Outstanding tax liabilities and/or penalties not exceeding ₱80,000 per taxable year
✔️ Taxpayers with delinquent accounts, assessments, or open stop-filer cases existing as of December 31, 2025

Under Revenue Regulations No. 4-2026, qualified taxpayers may apply for tax abatement and settle covered cases through their respective Revenue District Office (RDO).

This initiative aims to help small businesses, freelancers, and former business owners resolve old tax concerns, update their BIR records, and maintain compliance without the burden of accumulated penalties.

✅ Ang tax exemption ay hindi automatic na exemption sa filing requirements.

Kapag may required documents, returns, o exemption applications na kailangang isumite sa BIR, may itinakdang deadlines pa rin itong sinusunod.

Kung na-file nang lampas sa prescribed period, maaaring magkaroon ng compromise penalty bago ma-release ang eCAR na kailangan para sa title transfer.
