Typhoon Francisco continues to intensify over the Philippine Sea and is expected to reach Super Typhoon category within the next 12 to 24 hours while moving west-northwestward north of Luzon. Forecast models indicate that the cyclone may gradually weaken after reaching peak intensity as it turns northward later this week.

Tukoy na ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang pinagmulan ng mga baril na ginamit sa naganap na pamamaril sa loob ng San Jose National High School sa Tacloban City nitong Hunyo 22, 2026.
🔹 Isa sa mga baril ay isang 9mm G***k service firearm na nakarehistro sa isang babaeng pulis ng PRO-8.
🔹 Ang isa naman ay pag-aari ng isang private security agency sa Cebu.
🔹 Umabot sa 40 basyo ng bala ang narekober sa loob ng paaralan.
Patuloy ang masusing imbestigasyon upang matukoy kung paano napunta sa mga menor-de-edad na suspek ang mga nasabing baril at kung may iba pang sangkot sa insidente.
