𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 𝗢𝗙 𝗗𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗚𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗜𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 | Delegates and coaches from across Region VI arrived this morning at Capiz National High School for the 2026 Regional Festival of Talents and took part in a solidarity meeting promoting unity, collaboration, and sportsmanship.

𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆𝗻𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗙

Student-researchers from Capiz National High School won multiple awards at the 2026 National Science and Technology Fair (NSTF) held March 10–13 at the Great Eastern Hotel, bringing honor to Capiz and Region VI.

In the Life Science (Team Category), Moira Anneka Soberano and Paul Benedict Soberano placed among the Top 3 Best Projects nationwide and also won Best Project Poster, guided by coaches Maria Fatima Bolido and Ronnel Bialen.

Audric Keane Besa secured a Top 3 Best Project finish in the Mathematical and Computational Science (Individual Category) under coach Christian Dave Balasa.

Ellen Charice Arevalo competed in Robotics and Intelligent Machines, with her performance recognized as a win for the delegation.

Region VI also took home the Best Shoutout Award for their energetic performance during the opening ceremonies.

These achievements showcase the talent and creativity of Capisaynon youth, underscoring Region VI’s growing leadership in science and technology.

𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐏!

The Capiz National High School was hailed as the Best Performing School in recent Regional Schools Press Conference 2026 held in Punta Villa Resort, Arevalo, Iloilo.

The team bagged five championship titles, one by The Script’s Collaborative Desktop Publishing team, and four from their Filipino counterpart— Ang Kasanag.

The victory was followed by the Online Publishing team winning third place, while the individual category representative winners included, 2nd Place in Copyreading and Headline Writing, and 10th place in Sports Writing.

We also would like to acknowledge our other contenders, the TV Broadcasting and Scriptwriting team, our individual writers in News, Editorial, Column, and Editorial Cartooning; the team is incredibly proud of you for coming this far.

This triumph was made possible through the guidance of our beloved school paper adviser, Ma’am Ma**ca Nilda Eslabon, together with her co-advisers: Ma’am Sheena Flores, Ma’am Jenelfa Quilon, Ma’am Myra Yabut, Ma’am Virgilyn Dacula, and Sir Paul Villar.

We also extend our gratitude to our ever-supportive School Principal, Charlie D. Begas; Assistant Principal, Maria Isabel D. Bolido; English Department Head, Sir Francis Russel P. Varon; and to our parents, spearheaded by Dr. Aileen S. Soberano.

Following the recently concluded Division Schools Press Conference, an Enhancement Activity was conducted for the Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC) qualifiers in the group categories at Capiz National High School on January 24.

Earlier, on January 17, a similar Enhancement Activity was also held for participants in the individual categories.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄!

Once again, Capiz National High School was hailed as the 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗼𝗻 among participating schools in the Capiz Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) for School Year 2025–2026.

After winning the overall championship in the Individual Contests last December 14, the Script Publication Team was also crowned overall champion in the Group Contests for Secondary English held on January 10.

The team claimed championship titles in the School Paper Contest and TV Broadcasting and Scriptwriting categories.

These victories were followed by 2nd-place finishes in Collaborative Desktop Publishing and Online Publication.

Meanwhile, the Radio Broadcasting and Scriptwriting Team earned the 3rd Best News Presenters award.
