As a food vlogger, I’ve tried so many places—but nothing beats coming back to something that feels like home. Tropical Hut isn’t just about the food for me, it’s the memories. Dito ako unang na-introduce ng tita ko when I was younger, kasi may branch malapit sa amin. Since then, naging comfort food ko na siya.

This time, I ordered some of their best sellers—the clubhouse, chicken macaroni, bistek (beef steak), palabok, and burger steak.

🏅Yung clubhouse, still chef’s kiss 👌 classic, filling, and super satisfying.
🏅Yung chicken macaroni naman, medyo toned down na yung chicken flavor for me compared to how I remember it, but honestly, masarap pa rin and very comforting.

🏅The bistek? Super sarap—malasa and tender, definitely one of my favorites from this visit. Need mo ng extra rice or you'll get the umay factor. And the palabok didn’t disappoint either—saucy, flavorful, and hindi tinipid sa shrimp toppings, which I really appreciated.

🏅Yung burger steak din, surprisingly really good—tasty, juicy, and hindi siya lasang may extender, which is a big plus for me.

Yung shanghai naman, crispy, bagong luto, malasa at malaman. Perfect sa sauce na kasama - sweet 'n sour sauce!

Ambiance-wise, it still gives that nostalgic vibe—parang time capsule back to simpler days. Walang kaarte-arte, just good food and familiar feels.

🏅Siguro the only slight disappointment for me was the macaroni soup—medyo bland, parang kulang sa timpla. But overall, babalik-balikan mo pa rin talaga for the experience and the memories.

📌Tender Juicy Snacks

My favorite since I was a kid—batang 90s knows!
Kulang talaga ang dalawang order nito.

Prices start at ₱45 for a stick of Tender Juicy hotdog on a stick, and around ₱100 and up (depending on the flavor/topping) for the sandwich. Sulit din because the toppings are generous—especially the cheese, plus other options like chili con carne and coleslaw.

I usually go for the classic hotdog on a stick with lots of mayo and ketchup. Same goes for the hotdog sandwich—simple pero panalo pa rin sa sarap.

I ain’t a matcha lover,but this one’s got my thumbs up.
Not too sweet, hindi overpowering yung matcha flavor but it was there. Sakto lang yung kapal niya, and I think the ratio of matcha coating is pretty good.

Walang bitter aftertaste. Hindi nakakaubo kainin, at hindi rin dry sa pakiramdam pagkinain yung mismong polvoron. The only downside for me, natutunaw yung coating after a few seconds of opening it.

Flex ko lang yung kamatis ng kapit-bahay namin. Nakakatuwa😍Reregaluhan ko siya ng buto ng sili, para yun naman ang itatanim niya😅 Wala po kasi akong green thumb kaya di ako nakakabuhay ng halaman.

Tried buying chocolates from Dali Grocery and honestly, naka-score ako ng sulit find 🍫

Got this box of assorted mini chocolates—hindi lang siya appetizing tingnan, presentable din siya, parang pwede mo na agad i-gift or pang-share. As a chocolate lover, na-enjoy ko siya kahit hindi siya premium-level yung taste. Decent enough to satisfy your cravings, and bonus pa yung ibang pieces may toffee sa loob 👀

Madami rin silang ibang chocolate options available, ranging from ₱89 to ₱100, and yes—may dark chocolate din for those na mas bet yung medyo bitter side 🍫

For its price, okay na okay siya—simple, sweet, and sulit na treat!
