Roar! 🦁 It's Kion here again, and today I'm celebrating my first year with a Lion King cake smash! 🎂🎉 Just like Simba, I’ve had my share of challenges, but nothing can stop me from enjoying the sweet moments—like smashing this cake! 🍰💥

A big thank you to everyone who has been cheering me on through my journey. I’m so grateful for all the love and support from my family and friends. 💛 Here’s to more adventures and more cake smashing in the years to come!

Hi everyone, it’s me, Kion! 🦁 Today I’m 1 year old and I want to share my journey with you all. 🌟 This past year has been full of challenges, but I’ve fought through every moment with strength and courage, just like my namesake from The Lion King.

My mom and dad, they've been my greatest supporters, always by my side with endless love and care. ❤️ Even though the journey hasn’t always been easy, I’ve made it, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come. To everyone who has been part of my journey—thank you for believing in me! 🧡

Hello everyone! I just turned 10 months! It’s been a little while since I last updated you on your little warrior. I believe I'm fully recovered now! I can move around freely, and as my lola says, I’m becoming quite the "MAKULIT" one! I can crawl anywhere I want, cruise to my targets, and eat with my hands too. My appetite is back, and I’m getting chunkier every day! Just wanted to pop in and share my daily progress. How are your holiday preparations going? I’m so excited because it’s my very first Christmas!

🌟 ** Brave Kion’s Journey: A Path of Strength and Resilience** 🌟

From the moment I entered this world, my journey has been anything but ordinary. Today, I proudly celebrate graduating from my colostomy bag to navigating life with a diaper during potty time. 🎓💕

The journey wasn’t easy; I faced countless challenges, from the fear of my bag bursting to dealing with endless tape on my tummy. Colostomy problems can be daunting, leading to complications like skin irritation and infection, but I faced them head-on with bravery.

Now that I’m home, my body is still adjusting—p**ping every hour has become a new normal, and diaper rash occasionally brings me to tears. Not to mention, my surgical suture is still healing, a reminder of how far I’ve come.

Who would've thought that something as simple as a normal p**p could mean so much? I am immensely grateful for my incredible family—Mommy, Daddy, and Ate Kiara, my Tan and Alvarez Family, who have showered me with love and support through it all. A heartfelt thank you to my amazing surgeon, Dr. Caballes, and all the doctors and nurses at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital who cared for me, even when I was crying and giving my famous judgemental look (hahaha).

To everyone who has prayed for me, offered support, and provided financial help—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your kindness has been my strength on this unique journey, and I look forward to embracing every moment ahead! 💖🙏

Bidding Farewell to My Colostomy Supplies 👋.

Last wednesday marks a significant milestone in my journey as I say goodbye to my colostomy supplies. It’s a bittersweet moment filled with a mix of emotions – relief, gratitude, and even a bit of nostalgia.☺️

These supplies were a constant part of my life for the past 9months, but now, as I move forward, I feel proud of how far I’ve come. Each step has been a testament to strength, resilience, and the power of perseverance.💪

For anyone else going through similar experiences, know that you're not alone. Every journey is unique, but every step forward is worth celebrating. Here's to new beginnings and embracing the next chapter! 🌟

To the courageous prayer warriors of Brave Kion, this is it! Kion is now in the operating room for his third surgery—his colostomy takedown. 💪
