SMDC units are perfect for Airbnb, but their typical 1-br is too small especially this particular Grace Residence unit. The "livingroom" couldn't even fit a 2-seater sofa. So to make the space cozy, we tore down the partition, changed the flooring and stuck to black and white motif using splash of colors through accessories and decors. Now, a family of 4 can have a comfortable staycation. The sofa can be converted into a double bed in addition to the 54" bed.There are also ample storage for clothes, luggages and hosting supplies. (Kitchen cabinet doors weren't installed yet when I took the photos) @ SMDC Grace Residences

There's nothing more satisfying than a make over that can definitely make the clutter magically disappear 😄. This 10-year old kitchen deserves a streamlined look with more storage to make things easier to manage in the kitchen. To keep your kitchen nice and clutter-free (no more ugly blue water container or bulky dispenser), under the sink water filter is an essential. 🙂

Another quickie approach to SMDC unit. I honestly prefer studio units rather than their 1 bedroom layout since the size is basically studio's but with partition that just makes the unit even smaller. Both units are just comfortable for two anyway. Although this one can sleep up to 3 (foldable mattress is inside the bed's drawer)

This was done in 2 days including installation of split AC. No painting was done here. All furniture are custom made except for the chair.
