DESIGN OF CANTILEVER STEEL SHEET PILE WALL
Sheet pile walls are a type of retaining wall that is often composed of steel, wood, or in the most limited cases, concrete structures. Steel piles are the most commonly utilized because they can be used on all types of terrain, at depths greater than 3.0 m, are watertight, and can be reused. Timber sheet piles are often less expensive than steel sheet piles, however, they can only be used for temporary buildings with a driving depth of no more than 3.0 m. Reinforced concrete sheet piles can only be utilized if they can be jetted into fine sands or driven into very soft soils. They are not ideal for rougher soils since they tend to break off when driven on.

DESIGN OF GROUTED RIPRAP SLOPE PROTECTION
a structure that is constructed on the prepared foundation bed in accordance with the lines and grades, sections, and dimensions shown in the plans, whether it is made entirely of stone, stone, cement, fine aggregates, and water, with or without filter backing, and is frequently used in slope protection works, drainage canals, and other places as required by the plans.

DESIGN OF TIMBER PURLIN
A roof purlin is a beam that connects trusses and transfers roof loads to the trusses. Purlins are frequently positioned on or framed into the truss in such a way that one of the principal axes of the purlin is parallel to the roof slope for ease of framing. As a result of this configuration, the vertical roof load is not parallel to either of the purlin's two principal axes.

Riprap is a permanent, erosion-resistant ground cover of large, loose, angular stone. The purpose of riprap is to protect slopes, streambanks, channels, or areas subject to erosion by wave action. Rock riprap protects soil from erosion due to concentrated runoff. It is used to stabilize slopes that are unstable due to seepage. It is also used to slow the velocity of concentrated runoff which in turn increases the potential for infiltration.

Masonry is used to indicate the art of building a structure in either stone or brick. The masonry wall is built of individual blocks of materials such as stones, bricks, concrete, hollow blocks, cellular concrete, and laterite, usually in horizontal courses cemented together with some form of mortar. The binding strength of mortar is usually disregarded as far as the strength of the wall is concerned.
Masonry can be classified into the following categories:
- Stone masonry
- Brick masonry
- Hollow block concrete masonry
- Reinforced masonry
- Composite masonry

Ground slabs are those slabs that are poured directly into excavated trenches in the ground. They rely entirely on the existing ground for support. The ground (more correctly known in the industry as the foundation) must be strong enough to support the concrete slab.

Corrugated roofing is a low-cost roofing material that comes in large panels that are designed to be easy to install while providing weather resistance. This roofing material is often used on sheds, garages, and other auxiliary structures, and in addition to being used for roofing, it can also be used as siding. Many home supply stores carry corrugated roofing, and it is also possible to order it directly from manufacturers.

To estimate the board feet from a log, measure the average diameter of the smaller part of the log in inches. Then, measure the length of the log in feet. Move the scale's marker over to where these two measurements meet. Where the two measurements intersect is the approximate board foot output. If there are any defects, you can reduce the number based on how significant that flaws are, such as rot or curvatures.

A spirally reinforced column has transverse reinforcement in the shape of spiral hoops. A tightly packed continuous spiral organizes the longitudinal reinforcement bars of the spiral column. Spiral columns are usually circular. Spiral reinforcement should be kept perpendicular to the line and firmly in place.
