SDO Panabo City, through the leadership of the ASDS/OIC-Chief of SGOD, Dr. Basilio P. Mana-ay, Jr., successfully conducted a Coordination Meeting for the School-Based Training on the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum to be held on June 12, 2026, at Quezon National High School.

The meeting was attended by Secondary School Heads and CID Supervisors and was facilitated by the Human Resource Development Section (HRDS). This collaborative effort ensures the smooth and effective implementation of the Strengthened SHS Curriculum across schools.

The Schools Division of Panabo City once again soared high in regional recognition as it delivered an exemplary performance during the recently concluded 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 (𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐋𝐀) 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐞𝐬 (𝐄𝐀𝐆𝐋𝐄) 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, held at The Pavillon, Waterfront Insular Hotel, Davao City.

Living up to its reputation as one of the most consistent and competitive divisions in the region, DepEd Panabo City brought home a remarkable 𝟏𝟏 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝟐 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝟐 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬, and clinched the 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐞 under the Finance Category. Since its certification as a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Provider in 2024, the Schools Division Office (SDO) of Panabo City has emerged as a regional leader in teacher professional development, achieving the highest number of accredited PD programs in the region.

To date, SDO Panabo City has successfully facilitated the accreditation of 82 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 (𝙋𝘿) 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘾𝙋𝘿 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙨, 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 100% 𝙤𝙛 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡𝙨 𝙞𝙢𝙥𝙡𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙋𝘿-𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨. Equally instrumental in this success is the 𝑯𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒄𝒆 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑺𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 (𝑯𝑹𝑫𝑺) through the dedicated work of 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐒. 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚, SEPS for HRD, and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐋𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐨, EPS II. Their leadership and technical support have empowered schools to design and implement programs responsive to teachers’ professional development needs.

By becoming the top-performing CPD Provider in the region, SDO Panabo City has set a benchmark for excellence in advancing teacher capacity. The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Panabo City, through its PRAISE Committee, conducted a series of conferences with the 2025 Division Nominees for the prestigious AGILA and EAGLE Awards. The activity was organized to prepare the nominees for the Regional Search and ensure that all requirements, competencies, and performance indicators are fully met.

The event gathered the PRAISE Committee, the Program Management Team, and the nominees in a collaborative effort to strengthen their readiness for the next level of evaluation. The sessions focused on clarifying the criteria, finalizing documents, and boosting the confidence of the division representatives.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐏𝐡𝐃, 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐎 𝐕𝐈, Schools Division Superintendent, graced the activity with her inspiring message and strategic guidance, highlighting the importance of excellence and integrity in showcasing the division’s best practices. Assistant Schools Division Superintendent 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐏. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚-𝐚𝐲,𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐎 𝐕𝐈, provided his encouragement and technical support, ensuring that the nominees are well-prepared for the rigorous process.

Meanwhile, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐘𝐥𝐜𝐲 𝐁. 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐧 and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚, together with the rest of the PRAISE Committee members, provided the necessary technical assistance and mentoring to the nominees.

The series of conferences not only prepared the candidates for the upcoming Regional Search but also strengthened the spirit of collaboration, excellence, and commitment among the division’s workforce. The Schools Division Office (SDO) of Panabo City, through the Schools Governance and Operations Division (SGOD) – Human Resource and Development Section (HRDS), successfully conducted a 𝑺𝒊𝒕-𝑺𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒆𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓 11, 2025, 𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑫𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒓 (𝑫𝑻𝑪). The activity was attended by all School LAC Coordinators, focusing on the uploading of Professional Development (PD) programs for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units accreditation with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

A total of 62 𝒔𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒅 𝒂 100% 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆, with all school-based programs ready for uploading and submission for CPD units application. The Sit-Session capacitated School Coordinators by guiding them on how to navigate PRC templates, prepare the necessary documentation, and properly upload program requirements to ensure accreditation.

This initiative reinforces the commitment of SDO Panabo City to support teachers’ professional growth by ensuring that locally initiated PD programs are recognized as valuable contributions to their continuing professional development.
