They say that childhood is a series of snapshots, but looking back, I realize that you are the frame for every single one of them.

You were the steady hand that steadied my bike, the silent observer who knew exactly when I needed space and when I needed a hug, and the quiet force that made our house pulse with warmth. You taught me that strength isn’t always about being loud; sometimes, it’s about being the person who stays awake to make sure everyone else is safe, or the person who finds the silver lining when the sky turns gray.

We often talk about the "big" moments—the milestones and the celebrations—but today, I find myself thinking about the "small" magic you wove into our everyday lives. The way you made a mundane Tuesday feel like a sanctuary. The way you listened to my endless stories with the same interest you’d give a world leader. The way you taught me—not just by telling me, but by being—that kindness is never a wasted currency.

I know I don’t say it often enough, but behind every version of myself that I’m proud of, there is a piece of your influence. You have given me roots deep enough to stand tall and wings wide enough to explore, and I have spent my whole life trying to live in a way that honors the example you set.

Thank you for the sacrifices that went unseen, the worries you kept to yourself, and the love that was always, unfailingly, the foundation of my world.
