1. Keep them in a quiet, secure space. Close the room, lock exits, and keep lights on

2. Create a cozy, calming nook. Use their bed + your shirt for comfort.

3. Muffle noise & distract
Play soft music and give treats.

4. Ensure identification,
put on their ID tag just in case.

5. Stay with them, our presence calms them.

6.Check strays outside, offer them a warm spot

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲, “𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙁𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙣𝙖 𝘼𝙨𝙤’𝙩 𝙋𝙪𝙨𝙖, 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙩𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤.” In line with this celebration, the Office of the City Veterinary has organized a month-long series of activities aimed at raising awareness on responsible pet ownership, rabies prevention and control, and dog/cat population management.

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in our recent successful event, which included both the Pawsitive Pet Care workshop and the Unleash the Fun Pet Parade. Your enthusiasm and support were truly inspiring, and we couldn't have done it without you.

The Pawsitive Pet Care workshop was a great success, thanks to the valuable insights and practical tips shared by Dr. Lawrence Virgil Gascal. We hope you found the workshop informative and useful, and that you will be able to apply the knowledge and skills you learned to your own pet care routine.

The Unleash the Fun Pet Parade was a highlight of the event, and we were thrilled to see so many happy and healthy pets and their owners participating. The parade was a great opportunity for pet lovers to come together and celebrate the joy and companionship that pets bring to our lives. Following the parade, we also have wokshop by Mr. Edgardo Cafe Jr., an animal welfare advocate.

Today, March 1, 2025, is a day filled with excitement as we embark on our fun Pet Parade!🥳🐾

The parade route is carefully planned to showcase the adorable pets and bring joy to everyone along the way. Starting from the designated meeting point, the parade will wind through the campus, passing by various stations. The parade will also continue to the final destination, where there will be showcasing all the pets in the Arts Center. Throughout the event, pets are expected to receive various awards such as "Pawsome Fashion Award", "Well-Mannered Wonder Award", "People's Choice Award" and other categories. It's going to be a day of fun, laughter, and lots of cuteness!

The Pet Parade is not just a fun event for the pets and their owners, but it's also a great way to bring the community together. It's a chance for people to come out and enjoy the beautiful weather, see some adorable pets, and have a great time. The parade is also a great opportunity to raise awareness about animal welfare. So, come out and join us for the Pet Parade today and help us make it a memorable event for everyone!
