In today's hyper-connected landscape, the boundaries between physical and digital safety have blurred, leaving child and adolescents to navigate a world where "catcalling" and "catfishing" are pervasive threats. On the streets, catcalling remains a persistent form of gender-based harassment that forces young people to endure unwanted s*xual comments or gestures, often turning their daily routines into anxiety. Simultaneously, the digital world has birthed the phenomenon of "catfishing", where bad individuals create a sophisticated fake personas to lure vulnerable adolescents into deceptive environment. This digital manipulation often targets an adolescent's natural desire for connection and validation, leading to emotional exploitation such as grooming. Together, these behaviors create a hostile environment where adolescents must constantly guard their physical presence and their digital identities, a complex exercise in risk management and digital literacy.
