More than just Ride

When people cheer without knowing the whole story, the applause feels hollow. Public praise can’t erase private guilt.

It feels good to see my old crazy buddies turn into responsible, admirable men and loving dads.

Politicians should be competing to serve the people, not competing to live in comfort and get rich.

𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹

The day I quit Netflix changed my life. How much more if I quit the number one productivity killer, social media? I’ve been on Facebook since 2008, that’s 17 years mostly wasted scrolling through photos of other people, admiring the pretentious lives the camera portrays, and laughing at nonsense videos.

If only I had spent that time reading books and learning new skills, I could have built something of real value, sharpened my mind, and grown into someone far more disciplined and fulfilled. I may have earned money by selling and offering my IT services online, but that still cannot outweigh the negative impact it has brought. It cost me time, focus, and the sense of purpose that once drove me.

I am not a responsible social media user. I chose to be swallowed by the system. Instead of connecting me to people far away, it disconnected me from the people beside me. There are many benefits and good things about social media if used wisely, but without control, it quietly takes away the moments that matter most.

We are what we post.

𝗪𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗨𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

Do we often forget that our public officials exist because we voted for them? They are there to serve the people yet we treat them like VIPs. They enjoy lavish lives funded by our hard-earned money while many projects meant to benefit the public seem to benefit them more.

They plaster their faces and names on every initiative acting as if these projects are their personal contributions when in reality it is their duty to create opportunities and improvements for the people. Service should be about action not recognition.

We are still being scammed by their smiles. True honor in public service comes not from perks publicity or personal gain, it comes from integrity, accountability and genuine dedication to the welfare of the citizens they are supposed to serve.

Wake up. Leadership is a responsibility not a privilege.

𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄

Realization comes quietly with time. It’s not about standing out or keeping up with trends. Staying lowkey yet never feeling left behind brings a quiet kind of confidence. Choosing what fits well, feels right, and lasts longer matters more than chasing labels. True style reflects comfort and contentment. Quality is not measured by price but by how it represents one’s genuine self. Personal style remains constant even when the fad fades.

Stay grounded. Stay real. Style is what remains when the noise fades.
