I knew a boy once, when I was small
A black hair, with brown eyes
He studied music production in college
His family cared more about the Bible
Than being good to their own child
He hide his makeup cause of his family
And somehow, we fell out of touch

Hope she took her bad deal and made a royal flush
Don't know if I'll see you again someday
But if you're out there, I hope that you're okay

an interpolation of Olivia Rodrigo's hope ur ok
from the album: Sour

Coming out shouldn’t be treated like a scary, big event, but our society especially older people has made it seem like confessing a crime.
The same people who claim they are open-minded and very religious. Let’s come back to the religious part later.

If we think about it, coming out is just telling people you’re attracted to the same gender or expressing yourself outside the lines of what’s considered masculine or feminine. That’s literally it. It won’t change anytime soon, I promise. They’ve known what they want and feel since an early age. The only difference is that they can finally express what they like in a safe environment.

Now let’s go back to those people who claim they are very open-minded and religious. One of the core values of religion is being family-oriented. So how can you disown your own kid or family member just because they like the same gender or dress differently? How can you call yourself a family person if you’re okay with cutting ties with someone who just wants to express themselves?

At the same time, these are the same people and the same religion that forgive those who cheat on their partners or even worse, actual criminals, just because they ā€œfound God.ā€ But they can’t even respect their own loved ones who simply love and express differently from the norm.

How can you be a family person if you can’t give the bare minimum? If you can’t fully accept it, fine that’s your process. But the bare minimum is giving them a comfortable space, because at the end of the day, you’re still their family.

Big respect to the people who are progressive and don’t let traditional thinking control their entire mindset. And lastly, to the guys, girls, g**s, bisexuals, trans people, le****ns, qu**rs, and everyone in the rainbow family, keep slaying.

Maybe you should check my song "talia" 🌈

One step forward 3 steps back

The melody line might still change since it’s what I’ll base the lyrics and pacing on. For now, we can call this the first demo of MAUD3.

There’s no estimated timeline for MAUD3, but I’m aiming for late 2026 or early 2027. I don’t want to rush it since I only have a one-week break between the second and third terms. However, I’m planning to drop a single during that term break. Let’s see.

Also, starting today I’ll be dropping ā€œsaintā€ as my stage name because Saint Maud is also a horror film from 2019. I’ll go by mƤud (all lowercase), or Maud Ng when it comes to production credits
