𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, 𝐘𝐮𝐫𝐢 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐨! 🇵🇭

Out of 140 international delegates, Yuri Jamilano—an incoming sophomore from BAJ 1-1D—stood tall as he represented the Philippines in the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on July 28–30, 2026. 🌎

As part of the World Health Organization Philippines delegation, Yuri earned the 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, recognized for his clarity, eloquence, and conviction in debate.

Among the key issues tackled were the Mental Health Action Plan and health infrastructure in developing areas, where Yuri’s resolution titled “𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲” was unanimously passed by fellow delegates.

This achievement follows his earlier participation in the United Nations Human Rights Council Palestine Conflict in August 2025, further proving his dedication to global discourse.

Beyond the awards, Yuri’s journey reflects the growing voice of young Filipinos in international platforms—showing that with courage, intellect, and passion, students from the youth and PUP community can stand shoulder to shoulder with the world’s brightest minds. 🗣️

Competing against some of Southeast Asia's finest karatekas, Iah concluded her stint 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝟮𝟭 𝗙𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗞𝘂𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲 -𝟱𝟬 𝗸𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻—a testament to her dedication, discipline, and unwavering spirit on the international stage. 🥋💛
