Before then, they had locked themselves in the upper room in fear of the Jews. This event gave Peter and the twelve the strength and courage to fulfill the mission they were given by Jesus.

He was known as a miracle-worker. He prophesied, healed the sick, and multiplied food. He brought a dead dog back to life. He had the gifts of invisibility, transfiguration, and translocation. It is said that he also bilocated to the Philippines.
