MPL Malaysia's history shows a clear dominant force with zero real contenders in recent years.

Selangor Red Giants (SRG, now SRG.OG Esports) has won the last four straight titles: S13, S14 (4-2 vs Team Vamos), S15 (4-0 vs HomeBois), and S16 (4-0 GF sweep vs CG Esports). In S16, they went undefeated in regular season (9-0 matches, 18-3 games) and crushed playoffs without dropping a series loss (3-0, 3-1 UB final, 4-0 GF).

Earlier seasons had more variety (e.g., TODAK with 2x, Team HAQ), but since S13, SRG.OG is untouchable—perfect RS, dominant drafts (Lancelot 100% WR), and no team has pushed them past 4 maps in a Bo7. CG's 4-3 lower final comeback was great, but they got shut out in GF—proving challengers exist, but none can close.

SRG.OG's MPL MY dynasty could extend 2-3 more seasons (S17-S19, through 2027) before a serious challenge emerges, pushing their streak to possibly 6-7 titles.
