Got mini siopao from the kapitbahay and the kids are excited to try them out! So baon it is!

I am flying 🛫 Emirates again today. Mixed feelings ako sa airline na ito because their seating configuration 💺 is really tight. And for those of you who personally know me would know it means something because I am not even 5 foot tall and with my short legs nasikipan pa din ako. Imagine that? I am your girly who doesn't mind flying economy long haul. Pero dito, a 5 hour flight and naglalabas na ko ng katinko. 🤣🤣

BUT deym! Ang sarap ng food nila! 😋🍲 Hanep! I am not also usually picky sa airplane food and I actually enjoy it. Pero iba ang Emirates. Masarap talaga. Tipong malilimutan mo na sumasakit na balakang at tuhod mo. 🤣🤣

I also prepared quick baon for our Ate Gelai but I don't know if she likes rice kaya combination ng snacks sa pantry ang laman ng bento nya.

We already got new baunan for the . Zojirushi is highly recommended na nakakakeeo nga daw ng init ng food. Yesterday daw ok naman. Warm pa ang food come lunch time.

Amd my bunso also wants rice na din just like Ate! 🤣 Kupu!

I still prepare morning snacks for both bagets and now I need to prepare lunch for ate as well. We live one baranggay away from the family so we need to prep ate's lunch. Nagrereklamo sya though because the food is no longer hot. Nasanay na bagong luto ang food all the time. Any reco for lunch box?

I always make sure I have small stuff na madali ilagay sa baunan in case sobrang hirap na hirap ako bumangon the next day. There are days to be honest na di ako nakakabangon. The kids would just grab stuff from the pantry tapos alis na. But I really try to make bento kasi these boxes make them happy and they eat their baon well.

Usually I try to stay away from baon na need pang iluto kasi puyat ako lagi from work so every morning is a major struggle for me. BUT these cheese sticks are so easy to prep and really fast kaya perfect padin for me.

The kids love it! And easy to munch on kaya perfect for my little boy. Balanced diet tayo kaya may chocolate cookies pero may yakult at sliced apples din. I got yung small apples kasi sakto sya for the kids. I try not to pack a lot of snacks kasi madalas nawawalan ng gana mag lunch. But for the Ates yung nakabalot na cookies are perfect as afternoon snacks naman.

Na-miss nyo ba ang ating ? I still do bento for the kids pero puro kasi sandwich and same same stuff kaya di ko na pinopost. It's the easiest to make sa umaga and matic na hit sa mga bagets. No brainer kumbaga. Samahan lang ng fruit at cookies solb na sila.

But today dahil nalimutan ko bumili ng tinapay after gym last night, eto ginamit ulit natin ang ating sandwich/pancake maker! May art ang bento ng mga bagets. Kaya may mapopost akong bago. 😂😂

Wala kaming fruits na baon friendly today but this would've been better with bananas.

❣️Tipid tips - S&R usually have a lot of sale items ng mga cookies, I just buy those para maka try ang mga bagets ng iba’t ibang type. But don’t hoard! Minsan ako na eexcite kasi madalas mura pero madali magsawa ang mga bata.

🎬 MUFASA Movie Review 🎞️

Dahil walang swak for kids sa MMFF this year (na-miss ko tuloy si Enteng at ang Puso ng Pasko) - we went to SM Aura iMax to watch Mufasa in 3D.

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

First movie na napanood ko sa sine eh Lion King. Sinama ako ng Tita ko. Sa Greenbelt. Tanda ko kasi sumakay kami ng 2 jeep. 🤣🤣 Tapos gandang ganda ako sa Makati. Wala lang. Naalala ko lang.

And so about Mufasa -

✨This movie is meant to be watched in 3D for full impact. ✨

First time ng mga bata sa iMax. First time ng mag 3D. So perfect ito as a special experience sa mga kids.

Great graphics. Napaka realistic ng lahat. Visually stunning talaga. Gandang ganda ang panganay ko at our Ate Mikee.

The story is wonderful. As someone who has watched Lion King 10 thousand times relate na relate ako and ang daming “whoaaah! Dun pala galing yun!” moments. Telling the story of our great Mufasa is such a brilliant idea.

Just like most Disney movie these days, ang daming lessons and realizations and feels ng movie. Ang daming layers. Ang sarap i-analyze. But most of all, nostalgic.

Though I think yung missing 1 🌟 sa rating ko is because walang kantang bongga in this film. Alam mo yun? Yung impactful na song na mag stay sa tenga mo for days? Lin Manuel Miranda eh! Nag expect ako. Hahahahaha! Siguro closest na yung I’ve always wanted a brother pero watching it di ganun ka impactful. O dahil mahirap lang kantahin? Ewan ko basta that’s the only missing piece for me.

So for parents out there na naghahanap ng something to do with your kids this Christmas Break, I highly recommend this movie. And to MMFF producers, Puso ng Pasko remake please. 🤣 Si Jolina padin bida. 🤣🤣

📽️ The Kingdom Review (MMFF2025) 🎞️

Ang daming magagandang movie sa line up ng MMFF this year! But the one movie that intrigued me the most is Bossing’s 👑The Kingdom👑. Kaya sa araw ng Pasko, sya ang una naming pinanood.

Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Grabe this movie. ✨Beautifully written, well-executed.✨ Worth every penny.

First 5 minute of the film kinilabutan na ko agad. I love the many layers that this movie has shown. The moment you start hating a character, you’d see a totally different side of him that would make you love him or vouch for him. And vice versa.

It is, above all, a family movie. With politics mixed in between and lots of great tribute to our heritage. Sabi ko nga sa pinsan ko, ang ganda ng pagkakagamit sa mga malalalim na tagalog, not cringey. Hanggang sa pinakamaliliit na detalye, may makikita kang napaka-Pilipino. Like, wow!

Sue and Piolo did great in this film. At ang ganda ni Manay Sue dito! Dayang na dayang talaga. Tunay na marikit. Perfect casting, me thinks. Actually, even Christine and Sid and the Babaylan - lahat talaga on point.

Of course, Bossing. Wow! Bagay sa kanya ang role na to. Serious. Intelligent. Brave. Good move for him.

Overall, really worth watching. Di sayang ang pera nyo! Magandang pelikula. Nakakaproud panoorin.
