The ASTHRDP Graduate Scholars’ Conference is an annual event that provides scholars from different ASTHRDP-NSC institutions a venue to showcase their research, exchange ideas, and build connections with fellow scholars and researchers.

This year, 𝟲𝟲 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 from UST participated in the conference, composed of 58 scholars, 5 faculty members, 1 project leader, and 2 project staff.

𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐥𝐲 𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 — 𝟐 𝐏𝐡𝐃 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟕 𝐌𝐒 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 — formally joined the DOST ASTHRDP program during the 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐫𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, held on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟑 at 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐄, 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐔𝐒𝐓.

The orientation covered the essentials of the scholarship, including benefits, responsibilities, financial procedures, and available support services, to help guide scholars throughout their graduate studies.

The event aimed to familiarize scholars with their scholarship privileges, opportunities, responsibilities, financial procedures, and support services to guide them throughout their graduate studies.

Twelve DOST-SEI ASTHRDP scholars from the University of Santo Tomas, comprising 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐏𝐡.𝐃. and 𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐒 graduates, were formally recognized at the 2025 𝐼𝑛 𝑇𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑊𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝐸𝑥𝑐𝑒𝑙𝑙𝑒𝑛𝑐𝑒 awarding ceremony held today, 07 October 2025, at The Blue Leaf Cosmopolitan in Quezon City.
