Oh my jellyfish! ଳ

Jellyfish are transparent and their body is made up of 95% water. It has no brains, heart, lungs, bones or blood but they still able to survive traumatic injuries to its bell and still function.

Instead of a brain, a jellyfish has a set of nerves commonly referred to as a nerve net or nerve ring. This nerve net helps them detect shifts in their environment, including temperature, gravity, water salinity, oxygen concentration, vibrations and currents. These nerves are responsible for the jellyfish's automatic responses.

They also have stinging cells that helps them to hunt and defend themselves, and they come in a variety of colors and patterns. Some even have the ability to light up the darkness of the ocean with their bioluminescence.

BLUE RINGED OCTOPUS
"OCEAN'S DEADLIEST BITE"

The blue-ringed octopus, despite its small size, carries enough venom to kill 26 adult humans within minutes. Their bites are tiny and often painless, with many victims not realizing they have been envenomated until respiratory depression and paralysis begins. No blue-ringed octopus antivenom is available.

💡FUNFACT!!!

Sea otters are a group of aquatic mammals that belong to the family Mustelidae.

They spend most of their time in the water, and one of the ways they maintain their tight-knit bonds is by holding hands while sleeping. When a sea otter falls asleep in the water, it can drift away from the rest of the raft if it doesn’t have something to hold onto. By holding hands, the otters are able to maintain physical contact and stay close to the other members of their group.

Furthermore, otters may hold hands to create a raft, which aids in their flotation ,energy conservation while they sleep, and shares body heat to keep them warm.

WATCH OUT FOR THE SQUARE WAVES!!!

Square Wave is a type of ocean wave that takes on a square shape. They are also known as cross seas or grid waves because of their geometric, crisscrossed pattern.

Square Wave is a rare phenomenon that occurs because of wave refraction or wave diffraction. This results in two ocean swells that collide at perpendicular angles, creating a distinct checkerboard pattern. Other possible causes of square waves include two strong currents colliding or certain weather patterns in the region.

⚠️Square Waves can be very dangerous for several reasons. Square waves create extremely powerful rip currents and undertows so it's hard to stay float or navigate back to the boats. As a result it can drown a person deep the coast. It also causes
boating accidents and shipwrecks.

❗Even a boat and a strong swimmer are no match to the danger of a square waves. Leave the area as soon as possible.

✏️Note: Square waves can appear and disappear in as little as 5 minutes, but some last much longer than that.

Stay Informed Everyone!!!

The whale shark (Rhincodon typus) is a magnificent creature and the largest known extant fish species. It is a slow-moving, filter-feeding carpet shark.

Whale sharks are an important species in marine ecosystems. They face threats such as habitat degradation, bycatch, and illegal fishing. Organizations like the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) are working to protect them.

They are found in warm waters all over the world, but there are a few places where they are commonly seen. Here are some of them:

1. Ningaloo Reef, Western Australia: This is one of the most reliable places in the world to see whale sharks. They usually arrive following the mass spawning of coral.

2. Isla Holbox, Mexico: This island off the Yucatan Peninsula is a prime feeding ground for whale sharks, especially during the summer months.

3. Donsol, Philippines: From November to June, the waters around Donsol become a feeding ground for whale sharks.

4. Tofo Beach, Mozambique: This is one of the few places in the world where whale sharks can be seen year-round.

5. Utila, Honduras: This is one of the cheapest places in the world to go on a whale shark dive.

Remember, if you ever get the chance to see these magnificent creatures in person, it's important to respect them and their habitat. 🌊🦈.

Comet Tails Sometimes Can Be Mistaken As An Airplane Smoke Or Jet Trails.

Comet tails are formed by the ejection of dust and gases from the nucleus due to the pressure of sunlight. It can be seen for hours or days after the comet passes.

✏️Note!!!
The comet tails always point away from the sun because of sunlight's pressure.

The picture below was captured on Sept. 9 at dawn. The view is from Valencia, Spain.
