You know what I love about this man?

He didn’t think for a second to save the child. He didn’t even consider his safety. He just jumped and saved the child.

It shows how genuine his heart is. And maybe that’s what we need right now. A true act of kindness, regardless if we personally knew them or not.

There is a time for jokes, but a crisis is not one of them.

Imagine you're living in a low-lying area, a typhoon is destroying your home, and as someone who works hard to earn a livo, you waited for that one announcement that wouldn't make you feel guilty, but instead, that announcement was made as a form of joke.

Imagine it was you on the brink of drowning, and someone jokingly said they overslept so they couldn't save you.

Imagine it was you.

Crisis communication shouldn't be done humorously. It was called "crisis" because lives are at stake, and it should be taken with utmost urgency.

May this be a reminder that if you have the privilege to sleep for hours in times of typhoon, remember that not everyone has a roof, money, time, and privilege like you.

Be sensitive. Be cautious. Be a good example.
