I've been retesting the waters lately, trying to figure out the next best step for my recovery. Since I got my knee injured, it's been hard getting back on the pavement. Gain more weight instead of loose them.
I hope this gets the ball rolling, I'll keep running as long as my legs work. But, until then. I'll figure out a way to get rid of this runners knee or keep it at bay.

Oh yes!
Finally was able to get my hands on Pace 2. One of the best in terms of features and value. Now, I'll be able to try this out for myself.
Time to track my progress and those miles.
Though, on the downside. Runner's knee is killing me.
Wish me luck!

Nice and easy 10k run.🤙
For the first half or the first 5k, slow pace with the New Balance Rebel V2. Then for the 2nd half or the next 5k, slightly faster pace or an easy run with the Saucony Endorphin Speed 2.😎
Felt pretty good, not exhausted at all but I still have to watch out for my knees and my ankles because they haven't fully recovered yet. The shoes were snug due to the thicker insoles with arch support. Yes, I know. Flat and wide feet problems.🤷♂️
I really need to schedule my runs very carefully to prevent and avoid further injuries.
Finally! Another addition to my quiver of running arsenal. Yet the color leaves a lot to be desired, I like it exploding with colors but it’s the only option available.😩
Anyhow, I’ve only heard only great things about the Saucony Endorphin Speed 2. Unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to try or test the V1 and I’m really wondering how the ride is gonna be.🤔
So excited about this!😱

A short 3k run with pace of 6min/km, I mean it wouldn't be ideal especially with this shoes. I'd say that this was a hard recovery run, had to mix things up a bit you know. Been using this bad boy for years now and there's barely any wear and tear on the outsole, so reliable for strength trainings.💪
Also, before I was thinking to myself why can't I go any further or faster? Now I understand, I was using the wrong equipment/shoes and size! I had a lot of running shoes before, I wouldn't say much but there were more than one. I always thought my feet won't get any bigger, before the pandemic happened I was running casually amd when it happened I wasn't able to run for a straight 2 whole years! And my feet got even bigger, it did! A full size or 1 1/2 size, that's stretching it a bit but yeah.😅
Now, I just wanna get back into running. Make it part of my daily activity, I wouldn't say routine because it becomes boring overtime. Find new routes to conquer and be better at running, maybe join my very first 5k marathon all the way to a full marathon. I mean, who knows. But that's the goal and I'm looking forward to it.🤘

Easy 6k run, had to pause run on stop light and intersections which is a bummer. Still have plenty of fuel on the tank after the run. Yeah, I feel pretty good.
Roughly 35k on the Peg38, feels great when broken in. Slight bounce back, which is good. Helps a bit with energy return.
Though, I think I need another shoe to do some run testing. What do you reckon I try next?

Manage to do a 7k moderate to slow run today (4.35m), feeling pretty good about it. Finally, the shoes feels somehow broken in. I think I've accumulated roughly 25k (15.534m) already, barely felt any pain from my knee.
Though, I felt I bit of numbness almost on the emd of my run on my right foot which is the wider one. Had to re-tie my shoelaces for that. The upper feels good, didn't feel any hotspot even with how thick it is. Still comfortable I would say, but it's still a heavy shoe. Lockdown is pretty good, no heel slip or otherwise. I just love that gusseted tongue, can't miss that.
Midsole feels a bit forgiving now, had a slight bounce to it but very minimal. Can't say that I feel that Zoom Air, need to do a linger run I guess if I can manage. Outsole is very grippy and stable.
If you think that I missed something just let me know in the comments below.
Will post more update soon, stay tuned!
