I’ve been trying to retrieve the photos I took from last year’s ACX since my hard drive broke. I used it heavily for my studio job before, so unfortunately the damage wasn’t covered.
Recently, I’ve been spending time editing and re-editing my work because I want to make a proper comeback. My old job really drained me, haha, but I’m slowly getting back into the rhythm again.

Shooting this pre-debut concept was really fun because of the soft Korean-inspired vibe of the set. The pink florals, pastel tones, and styling gave everything a dreamy and elegant atmosphere that felt very delicate and timeless.

During this shoot I spent time playing with the lighting to shape the mood of each photo. By changing the direction of the light and adjusting the intensity, I was able to create both soft bright portraits and deeper shadows that added depth and drama to the scene.

I also guided the posing throughout the session to keep everything looking natural and graceful. Small adjustments in posture, hand placement, and angles can completely change the feeling of an image. Seeing how the lighting and posing worked together made the whole concept come to life.

Pre-debut shoots are always special to photograph because they capture someone right before an important new chapter begins, and being trusted to document that moment is something I really appreciate.

What kind of concept would you want for your own pre-debut shoot? 🌸📸

Shooting couples in the studio reminded me of my humble beginnings as a photographer back in high school. What started as simple curiosity eventually turned into something I truly love doing today.

Creating these moments now feels natural, and it’s always fun when my clients get to enjoy the experience as much as I do.

This was one of the first pre-nup shoots I did during my time at the studio. The client specifically requested that their cat be included in the shoot which I found incredibly cute and heartwarming. Looking back at it now reminds me how far this journey has come.

What kind of photoshoot have you always wanted to try but haven’t yet? 📸✨

It felt unfamiliar stepping outside my usual style and trying a different type of photography, but I learned a lot from the process.
