Monday to Friday, life moves so fast.
Deadlines. Work. Responsibilities.
We’re both busy… minsan parang wala na kaming time sa isa’t isa.

But every Saturday, I make sure things are different.
When he goes to work to release an airplane ✈️,
I go with him. 🤭

While he’s out there doing his job,
I’m in a quiet café. laptop open, working, waiting. 💻☕

And when he’s done
we get that one or two hours.
Just us.
Talking. Sipping coffee.

Because the truth is,
we’re not getting any younger.
And time like this? You can’t buy it back.

I may be busy. He may be busy.
But love is choosing to show up anyway.

Thankful for a life where I can work anywhere…

This is my kind of luxury.
I’ll take these Saturdays, over anything fancy. ❤️

Because discipline hits different when you’re a VA. No boss watching, no time clock just you and your commitment to keep going.
Not everyone gets this chance to work from home, to earn while being present. So even on the days I feel drained, I remind myself… this is a blessing I once prayed for.
Good music. Warm coffee. Quiet hustle.
Padayon. 💪✨

POV: Cooking for my family… while earning.🍳💻🥺

There are moments like this where I just pause and feel so grateful.

Grateful that I don’t have to leave home to provide.
Grateful that I can cook meals while still working.
Grateful that I get to hear “Mommy” anytime… and actually be there. 🤍

It’s not always easy.
may sabay-sabay, may pagod, may stress.
Pressure is real.

But this life?
This is something I once prayed for.

To earn… without missing moments.
To work… while still being a present mom.
To build a career… inside the same home I’m raising my child in.

And today, while I’m here in the kitchen with my laptop open,
I’m reminded

I am living one of my prayers. 🙏✨🥹

14 DAYS WITHOUT INTERNET.

On March 2, our Globe At Home Globe Telecom internet connection suddenly disappeared without any warning. At first I thought, okay maybe this will just take a few hours. Maybe a quick outage.

But no.

It’s been 14 days. TWO WEEKS.

I’ve been calling the hotline almost every single day, waiting around 30 minutes in queue each time just to ask for an update or request a technician to check our line. Imagine spending half an hour on hold, hoping for answers… only to hear the same line again and again:

“We cannot dispatch a technician because this is an outage in your area.”
And when I ask when will it be restored?
The answer is always:

“We don’t have a specific date yet.”

No timeline.
No clear explanation.
Just wait.

What makes it even more frustrating is that internet is the lifeline of my job. I work as a Virtual Assistant, and my entire work depends on being online. For the past 14 days, I’ve been buying mobile data just to stay connected and complete my tasks.

Imagine paying your internet bill diligently every monthbecause if you don’t, your line will immediately be cut.

But when customers lose connection for two weeks, all we get is “no timeline yet.”

At this point, I honestly have to ask:

Is the monthly internet bill we faithfully pay even worth it?

I really hope Globe can give affected customers a clear timeline and proper updates. Because many of us rely on the internet not just for entertainment but for our LIVELIHOOD.

When I was in college, every time I passed by Norkis, I would always look at the board outside where they posted random words of wisdom or quotes.
The funny thing is, sometimes the message posted that day felt like it was exactly what I needed. A little encouragement, a reminder to stay hopeful, or just something that made me pause for a moment.
I didn’t realize back then how those small things would stay with me.

That was probably 20 years ago.

Today we happened to pass by Norkis again, and I saw that they’re still posting those random quotes outside.
Suddenly I felt so nostalgic.

Grabe no?
One day you’re just a student trying to figure life out…
and before you realize it, 20 years have already passed.

How time flies.

No internet for almost 2 weeks now with Globe Telecom Globe At Home , and until now they still can’t give a clear timeline on when it will be restored. It’s honestly frustrating, especially since I work from home as a VA and a stable internet connection is very important for my job.

Can anyone recommend a reliable UNLI DATA option that works well for remote work? Something stable for video calls, uploads, and daily tasks. I’d really appreciate your suggestions. 🙏
