When life starts shaking you, are you going to keep fearing, or are you going to start faithing? ✊✨

Last Sunday's message reminds us to shift our focus, remember God's character, and take the next faithful step!

In doing this, our faith becomes unshakeable, even in times of fear.
I MAY BE SHAKEN, BUT I WILL NOT BE MOVED! ✊

The fear of the LORD leads to life; then one rests content, untouched by trouble.
Proverbs 19:23

Fearing the Lord doesn’t mean being afraid of Him, like some of us were afraid of our parents when we were younger. God doesn’t want our relationship with Him to be based on fear. But we should revere Him.
As close as He is to us, as intimately as He wants to know us, no one can fathom the extent of the Lord’s holiness and the awesomeness of His power.
We should always have the appropriate amount of respect and reverence for our heavenly Father when we approach Him. He is worthy of it, and it reminds us of our own humble position. We exist only by His grace and mercy, because God loves us and delights in us when we live in His light.

Revering the Lord is not only the appropriate and respectful thing to do, it’s also beneficial for our mind, body and soul. As we mature in our faith and get to know God better, we can fearlessly and willingly submit ourselves to His will because our experiences have taught us to trust Him.
Letting Jesus guide us as we navigate this world helps us to align our own desires with the Lord’s. He shows us what’s best for our spiritual, physical and mental well-being.
There’s freedom in placing your life in God’s hands. He will show you the world can never satisfy your soul and always leave your heart aching.
Once you’ve learned to let go of temporary pleasures, treasures that rot and empty promises that only leave you hungry for more, you can fully embrace the deep inner peace that comes with abiding in Christ. He gives you living water to drink, the bread of life to eat and contentment regardless of your circumstances.

God protects His children from trouble. Not by removing all obstacles from our paths or by guaranteeing us an easy and stable life, but by keeping our minds set on Him and His promises. The Lord has given us His word that nothing can harm us. He protects us with His life. Our salvation has been paid for by the blood of Jesus Christ, securing our victory over fear, sin and death. He is our strength and our shield. No matter what happens to us in this world, He’s given us a perfect future in God’s kingdom that lasts forever.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗲?🫨

Life can bring fear, pressure, failures, and moments of uncertainty. Sometimes, these things can make us feel lost or even question our faith. But in the middle of everything that changes, God remains the same—faithful, steady, and trustworthy. ✊🤍

Our faith may be tested, but we don’t have to be shaken by everything the world throws our way. When we choose to place our lives and our trust in God, we can learn to stand firm no matter what comes. 🙌

For the next 3 weeks, let’s come together as we discover what it means to have an 𝐔𝐍𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐀𝐁𝐋𝐄 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇—a faith that remains grounded in God even when life gets difficult.
