‼️ EXTENSION OF VALIDITY UPDATE ‼️

Due to technical concerns, validity of motor vehicles registration with plate number ending in "7" which was previously extended until today shall remain VALID until 30 September 2022 without collection of surcharge or penalty.

Republic Act No. 10666

It shall be unlawful for anyone to drive a two (2)-wheeled motorcycle with a child on board on public roads when a) there is a heavy volume of vehicles; b) there is high density of fast-moving vehicles; or c) the speed limit imposed is more than 60/kph, unless:

The child passenger can comfortably reach his/her feet on the standard foot peg of the motorcycle;
The child's arms can reach around and grasp the waist of the motorcycle rider; and
The child is wearing a standard protective helmet referred to under Republic Act No. 10054, otherwise known the "Motorcycle Helmet Act of 2009."

Fines and penalties include:

First Offense - Three thousand pesos (Php 3,000.00)
Second Offense - Five thousand pesos (Php 5,000.00)
Third Offense - Ten thousand pesos (Php 10,000.00) and one (1) month suspension of driver's license
Succeeding Offenses - Ten thousand pesos (Php 10,000.00) and automatic revocation of driver's license
