Another insured OFW of Stronghold Insurance Company, Inc., Koronadal City Branch Office , died of an illness last quarter of year 2022 in Thailand. Her widowed wife received the cheque today in the amount of US$ 10,000.00 (or Php 589,100.00). At her left is her mother , Branch Manager of Oriental Assurance Corporation- Davao Branch, who was my colleague when I was still with OAC- Gensan on 2015 to 2020.

One of our insured OFW, received her Repatriation Benefits claims Cheque today 3 March, 2023.

(Her employer illegally forced her to return to the Philippines)...

Republic Act (RA) No. 10022 (an Act amending RA8042 otherwise known as the Migrant Workers and Overseas Filipinos Act of 1995, as amended, further improving the standard of protection and promotion of the welfare of Migrant Workers, their families and Overseas Filipinos in distress and for other purpose) requires the Compulsory Insurance coverage of Overseas Filipino Workers.
Stronghold Insurance Co., Inc. and Philippine Life Financial Assurance Corporation banded together to provide Non-life and Life insurance coverage respectively to our Migrant Workers.
