The Bachelor of Science in Community Development (BSCD) program under the College of Arts and Sciences, CFCST, officers Batch 2025–2026, proudly led by President Jopiter Gambay, continues to uphold its mission of service and community empowerment. This year’s initiative reflects the batch’s dedication to creating cleaner, safer, and more sustainable public spaces. As part of the project, the batch officially purchased 12 pieces of trash bins, 5 sets of concrete garden tables and chairs, and 1 brand-new Senix mower.

These resources aim to enhance community cleanliness, provide comfortable recreational spaces, and support proper maintenance of shared areas.

Through these efforts, BSCD officers Batch 2025-2026 reaffirm their commitment to meaningful community development. With unity, leadership, and purpose, the batch strives to leave a positive and lasting impact on the communities they serve. 🌱💙

We extend our deepest sympathy to Gerald Mudoc, a first-year student of a Bachelor of Science in Community Development program under College of Arts and Sciences department at Cotabato Foundation College of Science and Technology (CFCST). The passing of Gerald Mudoc has left an unfillable void in the CFCST community, particularly among his peers and mentors in the Community Development program. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to inspire us.

May the love, memories, and impact he had on those who knew him bring comfort to his family, friends, and fellow students during this difficult time. May he rest in peace, and may his legacy live on through the lessons he learned and the connections he made at CFCST institution.

Farewell, Gerald D. Mudoc, your Community Development family will miss you dearly.

The Bachelor of Science in Community Development program proudly congratulates Ma'am Kaye Margarette C. Valle, M.Sc., for successfully completing the Advanced Master of Development Evaluation and Management at the Institute of Development Policy, University of Antwerp, with the distinction of Magna Cum Laude. Ma'am Kaye's journey is a shining example of commitment to growth and development. She was awarded a full-time one-year scholarship under the VLIRUOS Program, a leading funding body for scholarships and academic partnerships focused on global sustainable development.

Her academic journey is marked by passion, hard work, dedication, and excellence:

1. Bachelor of Science in Community Development, University of Southeastern Philippines (2015)
2. Master of Science in Development Administration, University of Southeastern Philippines (2021)
3. Advanced Master of Development Evaluation and Management, University of Antwerp (2025)

With her very impressive academic background and over seven years of professional experience in designing and managing programs and projects for government and non-government organizations, Ms. Valle embodies the values of academic excellence, professional competence, and service to the community.

The BSCD program commends Ms. Valle for her significant academic milestone and looks forward to her continued contributions and leadership, especially to the Community Development program under the College of Arts and Sciences department at CFCST. Exciting times ahead! On September 5, 2025, from 3-4 pm, the Bachelor of Science in Community Development fourth-year students conducting a workshop-seminar with the theme: MASTERING CLARITY AND PRECISION: ENHANCING TECHNICAL WRITING SKILLS FOR TOMORROWS PROFESSIONALS and they embarked on a thrilling journey to master the art of technical writing! With the esteemed resource person sir Datu Puti B. Katab, LPT., the students dove into the world of clarity and precision, learning the secrets to conveying ideas effectively in both academic and professional settings.

Together with their very supportive adviser, Sittie Haniah M. Pakinson, M.Sc., the students engaged in a dynamic session on writing communication letter and making daily journal activities. Through hands-on activities and expert guidance, the students discovered the power of technical writing and its impact on their future careers. The workshop was an immersive experience that left the students feeling empowered and inspired to take their writing skills to the next level.

A huge thanks to the esteemed resource person sir Datu Puti B. Katab, LPT, for sharing his expertise and passion with the practicum students. You're helping shape the next generation of community development professionals, and we're grateful for your valuable expertise and contribution to the BS in Community Development practicum throughout thier journey.
