Empowering Communities Through Legal Education! ⚖️📚
On March 14, 2026, the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) of Kalinga State University – College of Law was successfully conducted in Lacnog West, Tabuk City, Kalinga, in partnership with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Kalinga Chapter.
The activity aimed to bring legal knowledge closer to the community by providing orientation on fundamental civil and legal rights and promoting access to justice. Through this initiative, law students and legal practitioners worked together to strengthen community awareness and encourage the practical application of legal remedies, including mediation and conciliation under the Katarungang Pambarangay system.
This collaborative effort reflects the continuing commitment of KSU College of Law and IBP–Kalinga in empowering communities through legal education and public service.

🌿⚖️ Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) Community Outreach ⚖️🌿
On March 20, 2026, the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) was successfully conducted at Lay-asan, Tanudan, Kalinga in partnership with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Kalinga Chapter (IBP-Kalinga).
The activity aimed to promote legal awareness among community members, particularly on their fundamental civil and legal rights, and to provide orientation on the practical application of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methods such as mediation and conciliation within the Katarungang Pambarangay system.
This outreach activity reflects the shared commitment of law students and legal practitioners to bring legal education closer to the community and empower citizens through knowledge of the law.

On April 9, 2026, the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP) conducted a legal outreach at Brgy. Taga, Pinukpuk, Kalinga in partnership with the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Kalinga Chapter (IBP-Kalinga).
Through this activity, law students and lawyers worked hand in hand to share legal knowledge, provide guidance, and promote access to justice for the community.

Following the program, IBP Kalinga conducted a 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒍 𝑨𝒊𝒅 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒏, providing free legal assistance and consultations to our constituents—affirming our shared commitment to accessible justice, public service, and a peaceful, law-abiding community.

In pursuit of its mandate to make justice accessible to all, the IBP – Kalinga Chapter will be conducting a FREE LEGAL AID CARAVAN on March 23, 2026 at the Tabuk City Gym.

This activity is open to the public and aims to assist individuals and families who need legal guidance and services. The following FREE legal services will be offered:

✅ 𝑭𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒐𝒇 𝑳𝒆𝒈𝒂𝒍 𝑫𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 and/or 𝑵𝒐𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔
(For simple affidavits and other simple legal documents only)

Clients are advised to bring all necessary supporting documents and valid government-issued IDs for proper preparation, including but not limited to the following:
• Correction of entries in birth certificate – bring the birth certificate to be corrected and valid IDs
• Late registration of birth – bring PSA Negative Certification and valid IDs
• Lost documents or IDs – bring any other available valid ID
• Other requests – bring all available supporting records and IDs
