Apart from art expression, students also immersed themselves in expression through music. The awaited Battle of the Bands of Expression Day 2026 was held on February 9, 2026, performing songs that suit the theme "This is My Place."

And that's a wrap! ๐ฅฐ
The ๐จMasks We Wear Competition๐จ, one of the main contests of the Expression Day 2026 was officially held on February 10, 2026. Grade school participants were tasked to draw in plain masks their understanding of emotions and/or gender, and they definitely understood their assignment! โจ
The awarding was then held on February 13, 2026.
Keep creating and keep expressing ACCians!

Our Junior High School, Senior High School, and Faculty joined the first day of our ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐ก in celebration of the theme โ๐๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ซ๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ฌ: ๐๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ก๐๐ฌ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐๐ฌ.โ Together, we embraced the beauty of healing, balance, and connection.
Through every activity, we rediscovered what it means to heal:
๐๏ธ Jenga reminded us that balance is built on support โ when one piece wobbles, others hold steady.
๐ โWho Can Help?โ helped us recognize the importance of reaching out and knowing where to turn in times of need.
๐จ Healing in Every Hue invited everyone to express emotions through art, proving that healing comes in many shades.
๐ฏ Wellness Bingo turned small acts of self-care into moments of fun and mindfulness.
๐งบ The Worry Basket offered a safe space to let go โ to write down what weighs heavy and choose peace instead.
๐ท The Affirmation Jar gently reminded us to fill our minds with hope, one positive word at a time.
Participants took home candies, stickers, and ballpens as reminders that kindness and care can start with small.๐ฌ
The booth will still be open tomorrow โ come join us and take part in activities that nurture your heart and mind. ๐๐ฉท
See you!

โจ โSince all men possess a rational soul and are created in God's likeness, since they have the same nature and origin, have been redeemed by Christ and enjoy the same divine calling and destiny, the basic equality of all must receive increasingly greater recognition.โ (Gaudium et Spes 29) โจ
Guided by this truth, the Basic Education Faculty of Aklan Catholic College attended the Basic Gender Sensitivity Talk on September 5, 2025, facilitated by Ms. Rizel Tumbagahan, Gender and Development Coordinator.
The session highlighted practical approaches to creating a gender-sensitive learning environmentโaffirming inclusivity, respect, and the God-given dignity of every person.
In her closing message, Ms. Archiane, Basic Education Guidance Counselor, reminded the faculty:
โGender sensitivity is about building classrooms where every learner feels seen, heard, and valued. The simple choices we make each day can empower students and nurture true learning.โ ๐๐ฉท
